Math renders, not raw LaTeX
Many md to pdf tools print $E = mc^2$ exactly as typed, dollar signs and all. TODOC renders inline and block LaTeX equations into proper math in the PDF.
Tables keep their columns
Wide tables and cells with long text are laid out as real tables with borders, instead of pipes and dashes spilling across the page.
Mermaid diagrams become images
Flowcharts, sequence diagrams and Gantt charts written in Mermaid are rendered and embedded in the PDF, rather than showing up as a block of code.
CJK text displays correctly

Yes. The conversion server has CJK fonts installed and has been tested with Chinese and Japanese documents, so characters render instead of turning into tofu boxes.
What happens to code blocks?
Code blocks keep their indentation, line breaks and monospace font, so snippets in a README or a technical note stay readable and copyable in the finished PDF.
