What the Gemini exporter does that Export to Docs does not
Real .docx and PDF, not just Google Docs
Gemini’s built-in Export to Docs only sends text to Google Docs, and tables and formulas often do not survive. The Gemini exporter writes a .docx or PDF directly.
Equations you can still edit
LaTeX becomes a native Word equation object, and renders correctly in PDF. No screenshots of formulas, no literal backslashes in the output.
